Mission Statement
Topic: Mission Statement
Mortfolio exists to detach ourselves from societal norms of behavior, for when one honestly and logically looks at a dead pool, it is no more a vice than any other wager or competition. Mortfolio exists as a dirty little secret that you only tell those who are closest (case in point, only 4 people participated in 2004 after I asked 20...so many were interested observers that we had 16 in 2005).
Take a deep breath, get that guilt off your shoulder and browse around...
Mission Statement:
1. I will not judge others who choose not to participate
2. My fate is not altered by my participation in the Mortfolio.
3. I will not feel the pain of others torment or ridicule relating to my participation in the Mortfolio, and finally
4. My participation in no way influences the event of a celebrities death (often times, the fault lies in the celebrities hyper-consumptive personality and Macchiavelian posture)
